What To Expect From Your Residential, Residential Commercial or Commercial Property Inspection

The roof is one of the most costly and important systems for your structure. We will examine the roof, its structure, materials, gutters, downspouts and more.

This includes the exterior cladding, windows, doors, overhangs, soffits, and other aspects of the structure.

This includes exterior and interior HVAC Units, thermostats, ducts, insulation and filters.

We will visually inspect plumbing fixtures for proper function, including all kitchen and bathroom areas evaluating plumbing pipes as well as sinks, showers, toilets, water shut-off valves, main cleanout points, ventilation and hot water heaters (if visible).

We will visually inspect both interior and exterior electrical systems including service drops, main disconnects, service panels, distribution panels, grounding, outlets, meters, circuit breakers, ceiling fans, lights, light switches, receptacles, fire & smoke alarms, fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, emergency backup lighting, emergency exit lighting, and other applicable electrical features of the structure.

We will check interior ceilings, walls, floors, doors, closets, and all built in cabinetry.

We will examine the foundation, whether it is a slab on grade, crawlspace, and basements to look for signs of things like past water damage, foundation cracking or shifting, proper ventilation, moisture barriers, insulation and other potential problem issues.

We will examine the attic to ensure it is properly ventilated, assess the level of insulation, and more.

We will examine the exterior property itself and evaluate driveways, parking lots, parking spaces, handicapped parking, walkways, and other exterior features to ensure that the physical environment of the property is safe.
